Pair of shepherds with spread wings

The Romeo house in Paris was one of the high places of decoration. This pair of armchairs revisits the Empire Style and more particularly the work of Jacob, one of Napoleon's favorite cabinetmakers.

Designed on a mahogany frame, the two armchairs feature spread wings, extended by eagles' feet clasping balls. The seat is covered with leather in the shape of snakes imitating crocodiles.
